Election Day

It’s election day. All over the country there are Labour activists out working hard to give the Tories and LibDems a bloody nose.

Campaigning with candidate Shaun Hodson

In my constituency, we have  six candidates who have all worked incredibly hard. In three wards, we have Tories and in the other three,  Independent Councillors were elected four years ago.

As a result of the fact that parliament is currently in recess, I have been able to get into every ward in the last few days.

Labour has had a good response wherever I have gone. I am hopeful that we will take back the majority of the wards for Labour and that my constituency will send an unmistakable message to Mr Cameron.
